Sicily- Pistachio
Originally from the Middle East, the pistachio makes its first appearance on our coasts through numerous commercial exchanges, especially with the Arab market. However, in Sicily it has found perfect soil for its cultivation, becoming one of the island’s excellent products. Very famous and produced in two different areas are the pistachio of Bronte and of Raffadali.
Arrival in Catania, pick up and transfer to the boutique hotel. Dinner included.
Guided tour and pistachio tasting. Lunch based on local products. In the afternoon, possibility of a guided tour of the city of Catania.
Excursion to the Etna volcano, light trekking and lunch included. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.
Breakfast and check out. Transfer to Catania or another airport of the island.
