Piedmont – Barolo
Piedmont encloses in its hills one of the most important areas for wine production and wine tourism: Langhe. Various municipalities that produce the famous Barolo (which comes from a long aging procedure of the Nebbiolo wine) are part of this denomination. In addition to wine, it is possible to discover an excellent gastronomic tradition, and a vocation of the area for slow tourism and active holidays.
